Honestly, what has been rolled out for Apple Intelligence is not that great. Just enjoy the other things that 18 will do and don't be so concerned about Apple Intelligence. Many of the big features won't be out until next year at the earliest and minnie may not even be out until WWDC next June. Mark Gorman from Bloomberg has had a lot to say about 18.1 and it has not been positive, and after reading his articles and thinking about it, he is absolutely correct. So far from what I'm seeing, this is more marketing hype than actual help.

I’m having issues with iOS 18.1. The “Find My” app is buggy in the current beta version. While the system is snappy, it’s still a bit slow. This is typical for a developer beta. Since it’s not my main device, I would advise others to approach it with caution.

😂 not everybody will be happy with these updates and changes to the iPhone. I’ve only got the iPhone 14+ so it will make no difference really I’ve got learning difficulties. The one thing it does fix in situations like that is the bugs on the phones which is good with all these firmware and updates. I think it’s okay for some people. Maybe it’s people in America that wanted this because a lot of people in the UK hate these updates on the iPhones.

apple intelligence features are not such a great.Many of these features can be done through some third party channel. This is not such a big deal. Google and microsoft are already so many years ahead of apple.

I believe Apple is encouraging people to purchase a new iPhone every year or upgrade from an older model such as the iPhone 14 or earlier. I shared your previous video with my mom and she was not interested in upgrading from the iPhone 13 which she purchased last year to an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 6. I believe the phone call recording feature would help her remember what she had discussed with the person she was talking to especially with her medical people. Those kind of calls to be recorded so you can refer back to what you discussed. I believe Apple needs to make this phone call recording feature available to all ios 18 devices. Planned obsolescence needs to be illegal. The SEC should say Apple you cannot make certain features exclusive to a certain phone and exclude others. Discrimination is illegal in every aspect.

@6:01 it’s not a performance issue from what I understand. The missing features for most Apple Intelligence on older iPhones are due to less RAM. They probably tried to make it happen. But iOS was more than likely ejecting apps far more often than desired. So they scrapped the idea. I guess it’s back to jailbreaking to back port the features.
