$25 Academy Sports Fishing Challenge!! (Surprising!)

In this Bass Fishing Challenge I take you guys with me to Academy Sports & Outdoors for my FIRST time ever with a budget of $25! Rod/Reel, Line, Lures, etc had to be purchased all within the $25 budget. We then take our new gear out to test it in the waters and see if we can catch some fish!

So that short rod combo is what we up here in Ontario Canada call an Ice Fishing rod lol But they are cool to use in open water and awesome in real confined spots and to jig with, I norm keep my large 42" ice rod in my truck in the summer just incase i need to scratch the itch lol.

Academy is my jam. I go there for kayak equipment, fishing, and shooting sports. I live between 3 of them in the proximity of 15 miles.

I’ve had that mini fishing rod and reel I caught a 2 pound catfish on it it’s last for a long time i’ve caught so many fish on it it’s a really good Rod and reel i’ve had it for about a year and a half
