Impactor also killed Guzzle by shooting him in the head with the harpoon, in order to keep Guzzle from killing Kup and Prowl. A really good series of stories involving Impactor, and the Wreckers, are IDW's Last Stand of the Wreckers, Sins of the Wreckers, and Requiem of the Wreckers

well I just got Siege ratchet and the 35 anniversary bluestreak and my daughter picked up for me blunt & red alert and I hope to be able to keep watching your videos this hobby of mine helps me to relax and I have had people told me I should be messing with "toys" at 58 but it helps me maintain my youth

One that I opted out of originally, too. But then after researching the Wreckers, I knew this was one that I must add to my collection. No regrets. An amazing figure. And now they're doing Rotorstrom. Keep the Wreckers comin' Hasbro!

I was kind of like you, on this guy initially. I didn't have any real attachments to or knowledge about this guy from before, although I still had plans to buy him based on what little I did know of his Wreckers history... THAT and to add a new character (for me) into my G3 collection.

The issues I personally, had with this figure, when he was first revealed, were, 1) He was a deluxe and not a voyager class figure... And 2) I didn't like that overly tall and extremely narrow long look of his tank mode.

I picked him up a few days ago, and though he is a deluxe, he's a bigger sized deluxe, like Ratchet & Ironhide, so I can go with that... But that tank mode still doesn't sit well with me, especially with a tank figure that actually HAS turret articulation! I just think he needs to be at least a 1/4" to 1/2" wider to fit that big turret a little more proportionately... Maybe it's just me, but that's my only real issue with the figure.

Other than that, this is a nice looking and good rendition of the character, and a pretty cool figure to add to my collection.

I picked him up a month ago & I agree 100% he's fantastic, I can't wait to get it to ninjabill for his review, along with barricade.

You might want to check out the Deep Space Arsenal upgrade kit for him. It has his harpoon and drill hand attachments, plus his G1 Marvel UK pistol. There is a Matrix Workshop upgrade kit that is similar but doesn't have the harpoon.

There are also some filler sets out there that can give him his IDW or G1 UK looks. I have both the Autobot and Decepticon versions and I am going to make him 1 of each. Just need some Toyhax labels now.

Great video impactor is my favorite of wave 4 been wanting a legit get of him since last stand had his for get as a stand in to my wreckers shelf not just missing a few of minor wreckers character s to finish the team

If it wasn't for the Starscream in the Siege line Impactor would be my favourite. I loved Impactor in the G1 UK TF comics growing up (I was a kid when the comic came out weekly and still have every issue) and he was awesome. But I did find it strange they brought him out since he does have more of a following in the UK than anywhere else it seems. Still, great to see one of Firman's original characters brought to life like this and so faithful to the G1 incarnation.
