God commanded Moses to make a Golden Menorah for the wilderness tabernacle. Why? What happened to it after the Temple was destroyed? Where is the Menorah today? Is it important to have it again or was it only a mere shadow of something far greater? Will we have it in eternity at the New Jerusalem?

I was in the U.S. Navy 42 yrs. ago. I took 3 days leave and walked around Rome for those 3 days. I was not yet a Christian at this time but still understood what that arch was a symbol of. I remember seeing the carving you speak of. It amazes me that this world denies Israel's history when there in Rome is something carved in stone from almost 2000 yrs. ago. Unbelief darkens the heart and denies TRUTH. So dark is man's unbelieving heart that it causes me to think that even if they had seen w/their own eye's our Lord being raised from the dead and walking out of His grave they would still not believe. Indeed, I believe that prayer is the best salvation prayer... not so much focused on our sin but what sin does. Adonai does not reveal anything for the sake of the object itself but how it operates in regards to Him. Everything points to Him, that we pray that His Light would shine in the darkness that we might enter into HIS light, indeed becoming part of it - like the menorah! I praise Him and thank Him for the light He shines through Amir, this message, and most importantly...HIS WORD which is used for the showing of the way to knowledge and understanding. The Word of God, a lamp always to our feet!!
