SERGIO BUSQUETS IS LEAVING BARCELONA

Sergio Busquets will leave Barça at the end of his contract this summer, as he brings to an end an incredible career at the club. Xavi had been trying to convince Busquets to continue - but with lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and the MLS, Busquets has decided that now is the time to move on.

Its sad to see another legend go, but I am glad that the team is moving on, and I am glad that the Busi is the one who was actually reasonable one and said, I am not on "that level" anymore.
I am not even going to talk about how good he was in his prime, everyone knows what a phenomenal player he is, but I am only going to talk about his last few seasons, sure the talent and the play was there, and on the nights that he "worked", he was phenomenal, but there were also nights where he didnt work, and we suffered A LOT due to that, not because he was the only one making mistakes, there were other players making even bigger ones, but the problem is, he was THE MAIN pivot of the team, so when he makes a mistake we were immediately punished with a goal.
He loves the club, club loves him, we fans love him, but its better to preserve legacy and leave if you can not perform on the same level, rather then ruin the legacy and make the fans hate you because you are forcing it.
