I don't know if most people can appreciate all the creative work you do filming and editing videos like this one. It all flows very naturally when watching it, but there is a wide variety of techniques and angles used in presenting something that is very repetitive, yet not boring at all. The use of drone shot is so well done and not overused, which would be something very tempting to do for an amateur cinematographer. There is a lot of care that goes into making videos like this and I just want to point that out. Thank you Pete!

This is completely different and I’ve never done hay before, but I had a Lawncare service for many years and when I cut odd shaped lawns I would pick a side and work my way across running parallel to the side I started from. That’s probably not as easy to do with a tractor as it is with a zero turn mower. It’s just like anything else, ten people would do it ten different ways. Thanks for sharing.

What type of grass was your neighbor chopping? And what is it used for?

Being able to use older model tractors and equipment in my opinion is a good thing, , I have a “h” to use for the lighter work, , and a 856 for the heavier stuff 😎 I also have a “m”

And one more thing. Grandpa taught me how to stand on a moving hay bale wagon. Grandma was driving the tractor pulling the baler pulling the wagon. Grandpa and I would be stacking bales. I never minded stacking the straw bales...I hated the heavier hay bales. Smiles.

The tractor is the same age as my parents… 1953…

Always enjoy your haying videos.

I’m sure you watch them, but if not, Keith Fink is a channel you might enjoy.

They did a recent 2 part on “Wilson’s Tractor” (Farmall 300). It’ll make you smile.

My first time watching and you make it look easy. Thank you for showing a city boy something I've never seen before.

Love to see the Super C. It's the first tractor that my grandfather taught me to drive. I raked so mich hay and strraw with that tractor. Great memories!

Great work once again, Pete. You must get sore tractoring on the older machines, the newer units have a cab, AC, and lumbar seats.
Btw, what GoPro's are currently being used?

Super C sounds wonderful. You do an excellent job of maintaining all your equipment. I farm on your scale myself, perhaps a little larger, but I still enjoy your videos. Thank you for the great content.

Admire your steady pace...nice to see the moments spent together with Hillary. We typically try to finish hay by mid-September on strips intended to remain in meadowcrop...sometimes do a later cutting on strips to be rotated to corn. With the shorter days and heavier dews, getting the crop dry gets more challenging, although it doesn't bleach as much and tends to be softer.

Pete, enjoyed your video with my coffee this morning. Making hay while the sun shines. Have a great week.
