A snippet of the allium flowers from June. Amazing bulbs and easy to grow. These are going in a vase

Most of these alliums have been in my garden for a few years. They keep multiplying. At this time of year you can't have enough of these spherical purple flowers. They're not just purple though; white, red, yellow and pink alliums are out at different times. Essential flowers for late spring and into mid summer.

These are just a few that I've cut to show the difference in sizes. The far reaching Schubertii with its long limbs, the enormous Globemaster on a strong stem, the tall White Giant. And the mid range alliums of Purple Sensation, Violet Beauty and Nectaroscordum.
