You’re an educator, and it shows in your show, which is always informative. You have a naturally endearing personality. I’m a nerd, and so are you. Your enthusiasm for the material rubs off in a not irritating way. I tend to prefer shorter videos. Sitting through another half-hour FSD test cruise has become tedious. Such revelations as, “Wow, this time it got the speed limit right!” Or, “It really nailed that unprotected left turn!” Don’t quicken my pulse any
more. I love your robotics talks with Scott Walker, though they’re longish and often get too tangled in the weeds for me, but that’s okay. I have a math degree, but I’m no techie, so I lack enough intellectual degrees if freedom to fully grasp what y’all are talkin’ ‘bout. John, I’m going to keep watching, and I’m glad you’re sticking with it.

I pay YouTube to avoid Ads. Tubers work products into their videos - if they're entertaining or informative I like that. I'm aware of all the free content I consume. So every video I watch, I give a thumbs up and leave a comment. I'm banned from Facebook. As a premium X member, I may share a video with X. At 78 on fixed income money is tight but time has value. Your wife is right - do YOUR "thing" not YouTube's. A loyal sub.

I have been watching your channel for 5 years and liked every video. Of late, I have not been seeing your videos in my feed although I am still subscribed. I most enjoyed the videos where you broke down and explained complicated stuff. I am an engineer myself but it was lovely to have it all explained in a simple way. Somewhat ironic that we have spent a lot of time and energy worrying about how the algorithm effects viewers, but little on how it effects content creators. I hope you keep creating, but not at the expense of your quality of life.
