My friend is US citizen filing i130 for his father. His father tried to enter in to US with someone else’s passport in 1989. He got caught at the airport immigration in US and they gave him two options
1. Stay in US Jail or
2. Go back to his home country.
He chose to go back to his home country so they sent him back to his home country same day.
He doesn’t have any time bar!

My friend is filing i130 for him, there is a question where you have to answer about immigration proceedings,
If Beneficiary has been in immigration proceedings -and you answer yes,

In this case Which option to chose from the following :
Removal
Rescission
Exclusion/Deportation to
Other judicial proceedings


Does he need the waiver or he can just simply file i130?

Hi Sir Jacob, i need your advice/expertise. I researched about the two immigration lawyers i am considering hiring in my area ( I would love to have you as my lawyer though if you are around my area)

They seem to be great (one of them was even a former prosecutor) but i heard from my state's bar association that they both had disciplinary record against them and (i am still awaiting for the complete report).


should I still consider them? they have great backgrounds and more than 10 years of experience as lawyers. (two of the lawyers im talking about are not from the same law firm though)
