Apple's iOS 16 Beta 5 just dropped, and there's loads of new quality of life changes here deep in the settings menu. I've been playing around with iOS16 with the iPhone 12 Pro over the last week and here's the 14 settings you aboslutely must change as soon as you upgrade to iOS 16. These settings will help speed up your iPhone, conserve battery and protect your privacy!

For those looking to connect joycons, the Bluetooth connect buttons are where the rails are that connect the joycons to the grip. They are Rectangular and will immediately light up green (if charged) hold them down for a few seconds that should allow them to disconnect from whatever they were previously connected and will show up to connect to your phone! Hope this helps anyone confused! (If I missed anything please correct me!)

Isn't that the button to remove the joycon from the holder? The Sync button is between the SL and SR buttons

Pretty sure the battery icon doesn't get larger, just colored in. It's lined up exactly with the 5G with or without the percentage.

Since when was the home button the end call button?! I used it for locking the screen on calls so I don't drain battery by having the screen needlessly on. It's also bad to have the screen on during calls because my cheek will hit the red button.

For home screen spotlight you can just swipe down when youre at the home screen. It can work from any part of the screen and if anything its easier to use than having to go down and touch the “search” button

I did not find duplicate photo! I do have more than 50 GB of photo and video, is there a way to add it from settings?

2:10 – Just wanted to note that I use the Lock to Hang Up feature. It's a lot faster, simpler, and just generally less of a hassle to hang up that way rather than having to move my phone and turn on the screen and then press the hang up button on-screen.

You pressed the wrong button to connect the joy cons. The one on the back is only to remove them from the grip/console. The one you need to sync is the one between the small shoulder Buttons (SL and SR) on the long side. The button is very small

I always use the lock button to end a call, much quicker specially when there is sun glare on the screen to see the red button to hang up
