Altogether too much punching in this video... One thing that is pretty cool is that Logic is always recording audio/MIDI tracks when they are record enabled by default. The only way you should ever lose the beginning of a take is when you forget to push play.

So in really quick terms, what seems to really set them apart is quick punch works great for engineers recording for someone else in the studio, auto punch is great for solo musicians
