There are many ways to skin the project car cat. Built vs bought. High dollar, low, fast, show, etc. What Tyler did to a family heirloom might be perfect. *If you like the video, share it!*

Thank you for having me on the show I had a great time. Really glad you enjoyed the car and a pleasure meeting you (Zack). I hope you’ll take my camaro for a drive when I finish it 🤙🏼

The owner is super cool thanks Zack for finding this car

Zack’s evil laugh when he gets on it is what muscle cars are all about. I love this Chevelle and the owner’s attitude.

This is easily one of the coolest cars ever on Smoking Tire IMO.

Dude when you pull out after the mid point stop...and just absolutely rip through 1 and 2, you both looked so happy and so cool. It was a special moment! This is what one takes are about.

This owner is a cool guy. They nailed it with the feeling of riding in a classic muscle car. The vibrations and everything you feel is what makes the experience. New cars are fast for sure but there's something special about classics.

Aye Zach. Just wanna let you know I'm starting to really enjoy your videos. You're developing your own persona and it's awesome to see. I'm glad you're starting to get to drive some higher-level vehicles, helps make your videos feel like they aren't just the things that Matt doesn't want to do but more just what he might not have time for or something that would be a good experience for you that he might have already had. Keep up the good work brother!

For being a total project build this is very well done. Nothing crazy, just loud fast n' super fun! I feel the other model years of the Chevelle don't get enough praise as the notorious 1970's do. I love the body style of the 71+ as well. Chevelle was just a truly great model, and I wish it were still around.

Great to see good old carbureted Big Block Chevy power!

Needs bigger brakes, but kudos to this guy for making a muscle car that can turn.

Zack you are cementing yourself in this format really nicely. Your wit and info recall is snappier and don't seem as preoccupied/in your own head. Sick car, great episode.

The 69' CHevelle 396 and the Mustang Mach 1s were my favorite cars in 69'. Ironically my first car was a 69 Ply. Road Runner I bought right after HS in 75'. Kept it for 13 or 14 years. Other cars I looked at in HS was a 57' Ply. Fury, 66' T-Bird, 69' Charger.

That old school BB sound has something that modern engines cant reproduce.

Hey Zack, it has been nice to follow your journey following in the rather big footsteps of Matt for these One Takes. Well done and keep it up.

Funny how the host, as with most people comment about old cars not handling, but lack the insight on all the new bolt in or semi bolt in suspension that's NOW available that changes the geometry to modern handling.

You had me at "I'm new to turning". Beautiful, bad ass car, although that goes without saying probably.
