Is the Axis a Pure Aero copy or is it something more? I had to find out...and I did. The findings were actually shocking!

Still loving that Axis 100 by the way :) and at this moment, it's strung with O-Toro Spin and Wasabi X. Update reviews coming soon :)

I actually really appreciate you taking the bias head-on. Compelling.

Playing lefty has definitely helped me understand technique better and it improved my backhand. Even if it doesn't work out you can always go back to hitting backhands (possibly) better than you did before.

Very nice video. And I am super curious about the Axis 98, especially compared to the Aero 98 since they are so similar not only in shape but also specs. 🍿

Great review. I use a double forehand when I warm up because it helps me with my two handed backhand.

O-torro and Enzo is a great combo. I out enzo in the mains and after a break in it's really great

Not sure just how many and what kinds of forehand comments you've had (actually I think I commented on something recently lol) but I have such varied thoughts about it that I'm curious why anyone would actually hate on you or criticize you for trying it. One of the first things I think of is that in the Manga/Anime series Prince of Tennis, two of our protagonists are famously ambidextrous, able to play fully with both arms. One obviously uses the non-dominant hand to mess with lesser players and the other uses the non-dominant one because of injury. So anyone who's watched PoT would lowkey want to have this skill - at least I do. The other thing I think of is that every shot seems to have its own personality - as the various memes out there can confirm, many people feel a similar way. When you take away your backhand top/flat groundstroke and replace it with a forehand top/flat groundstroke using your other hand, you're almost taking away from your repertoire but in a more abstract way. Like rejecting a family member but not at all LOL

I sometimes play with someone who switches up both hands a lot. If memory serves me correctly, his dominant right arm has some issues from some old injury(s). He can serve with both arms, with his left one being more soft and his right one much stronger much rarer. He tends to slice with a two handed grip, and overall his spin is pretty tricky to predict.

That all being said, I personally find various tennis styles fascinating. Even when people are trying to go textbook, it never really is that way. I recently learned that certain two-handed backhands use the non-dominant hand as the dominant hand (confusing sentence, sorry), and prior to this I learned some people's normal is having a two-handed forehand. Everyone's game has their own personality. I like Jessika Ponchet's curious body mechanics with both forehand and backhand - her left arm barely moves. Rafa's aggressive topspin is so markedly recognizable and distinct from most players.

Another great content and review, any comparison between the Axis 100 & the VCore 100? what are the tension range for the Axis 98/100

I’ve been playing with O toro and Enso Pro Matcha for a couple months and I gotta say, I like my previous Zero and Wasabi X hybrid better. For me personally, O toro needs at least specific amount of racket head speed to get serious spin. I’m just not good enough to get that speed every time and it feels like I can’t get any grip on the ball compared to Zero. I will be trying Zero and Enso Pro Matcha at 45/47 tension soon. I think I’ll really like it

How would you compare Diadem Axis 98 vs 100?

4:12 - Babolat Pure Aero Rafa 290g has higher swingweight. I would say around 326-330 (strung).

PS. What's an overgrip on RAFA? The pink one.

The pingy sound makes me think the racquet is very hallow...

Thanks for addressing the bias point - I'll admit I was wondering as you've been repping for Black Ace hard lately. But your explanation makes sense (as long as there's not some non-commission flat endorsement payment going on, which I trust there is not). But on your discounts... any chance you can get a Grapplesnake one? I really dig M8!!!

You are free to make money as long as you do 2 things always. 1 Just be honest with your viewers if there is a relationship with a brand. 2 be true to yourself and always give honest reviews the second only you will know. You always do those two things make as much money as you can. Still hate the no vibration dampener tho lol

Thanks again for this video. If you had to choose a racquet for singles' competition which would it be? Between the Black Ace 300 and this.

so, i can actually play ambidextrous pretty well. And besides the most common reasonings why u shouldnt do it (ie, it takes too long to switch hands), i realized something about the modern game. So i use to have a one handed backhand and finally switched to two based off of the evidence we are seeing with the very top players in the last 20 years. I think the general consensus of the forehand being always better has sort of changed in recent years. With serves and ground strokes getting bigger, a two handed back hand can be the more stable and reliable shot. One of the strategies sinner implements on alcaraz is to hit a heavy second serve into his forehand because the forehand is a longer and slower stroke compared to a compact stable two hander. If u look at djokovic, he tends to have a more reliable backhand return, but he still deals most of the damage to his opponent with his forehand. Once i realized the strengths a two hander can have, i stopped seeing that side as my inferior side and played to the strengths of what it can do. Now of course, if u get proficient enough with playing with a double forehand style, yea u could potentially switch hands when u get a nice sitter ball. But then again, if a ball sits up for u, u could always run around it for a forehand, or load up on a one handed backhand. Theres so many options before u take the time to switch hands. (which i find to be a very clumsy maneuver).

You dont deserve a Youtube channel until you can do a right and left handed serve.
