How to Wax At Home
Показать описание
Wanting to try waxing at home and not sure what to do? Well if you start with the best wax available then everything else will be MUCH easier. I recommend using either Signature Series or Experimental Series from Mermaid Wax. This will help you not have to rush when laying your strips. If you use a wax that cools too quickly, things can get very tricky!
We highly recommend getting your Esthetics License before you attempt to wax yourself or anyone else. It is ALWAYS smartest to go to a professional for any kind of waxing to prevent hurting yourself or someone else. However, we will give you some tips on how to wax at home if you still decide to do so. We only use hard wax so if you are looking for soft wax then you're out of luck! You will need gloves, wax sticks, cotton rounds, cleanser and baby powder. When applying a wax strip, apply in the direction of the hair growth. Make sure your edges are smooth and create a "lip" at the end of the strip. This will ensure the wax strip will come off swiftly and in one piece. It is also important to use a high quality wax! Wax brands vary greatly so try a couple before you buy it in bulk.
I also recommend using a silicone practice mat so you can practice laying your strips before you start laying them on yourself! Since the mat is a clean, sanitary area, you can reuse the wax which means you save money to wasting wax when you're first practicing.
Lowest Priced Premium Hard Wax Available:
Poseidon, Calypso & Medusa (Pro Series): $12.40/lb (w/license in bulk)
Sirena, Electra, Aurora, Hades, Ra & Helios (Hypoallerngenic Signature Series): $14.89/lb (w/license in bulk)
