What always gets me about Avdol and Kakyoin’s sacrifice is the fact that they didn’t have to come. They very well could’ve not journeyed with the two Joestars and made it out alive, but they went along anyways. This wasn’t their battle, yet they still gave their lives so Jotaro could win it. Even more so Polnareff, he had no reason to stay after J. Geil’s death other than loyalty to these people he just met. Makes me sad thinkin about it sometimes
