Here we are in the last week of July and summer storms are making a mess out of people's hydrangeas! I have some very practical and easy gardening tips for you to ensure that your hydrangeas successfully survive summertime. Also, I want to share with you some friendly advice about planting during this hottest time of the year - again it's practical tips that will ensure you have success in your garden! And finally, we will go on our weekly nursery tour to see how all of the new perennials are growing, blooming, and thriving since they have been potted into their new homes. This video was so helpful. I've recently become a huge hydrangea fan. This past fall I planted limelight, pinky winky, invincible wee white, oak leaf, and let's dance rave (my favourite). We just had a fairly heavy rain here in Vancouver BC and I noticed the limelight flopping. I wasn't sure what to do, so thank you so much for your advice on cutting them back. My gardening chore for tomorrow!!! Love your channel.

I came along your channel after following Garden Answer and Jack Barnwell Designs. I was sooo shocked and happy when you said you were in Dallas NC. I'm in Hickory so you can expect me on your doorstep asap!! I have 4 acres and am overwhelmed but I'm really determined to tackle at least one space this fall. It's a long 2 tiered space with a gradually taller (2-10 feet) brick wall separating the tiers. It gets afternoon sun; from about 10:30-4 or 5. I'm excited to get it finished.
