Thanks Shawn

I appreciate that you are independent of influence because there is so much market manipulation.

What is the difference between a speculator and investor with regards to rare coins? Is it time held?

I find that the younger generation has zero interest in currency and coins, that's the main problem with collecting. I went to one currency show and I was easily the youngest person there. Thoughts?

This is like buying 15 stocks and 5 go to the moon. Those 5 that saw 500 to 1000% will make up for the 10 that didn't perform.

Thanks for the reading recommendation. I don't have a passion (or means) to collect currency but hopefully the lessons can be applied to other areas.

I know nothing about coin collecting. But it definitely makes sense that a $1k minimum coin is a good starting point.
The point is that high-end collectors aren't going to collect $10 coins. Because a "rare" coin isn't going to be $10.
They're going to collect $1k-$100k coins that are truly uncommon or rare.
And every coin collector is trying to find deals on the rare & uncommon coins. So even if there are only 100 collectors and they're all trying to find the scarcely, low population coins.

Whoa! You threw out the "self-esteem" part of the video at the end. This is EXACTLY something I see in Vintage MTG cards.

the numismatic coin market has been and will always be a "hold" investment :) and I am not a fan of inflation but in this type of hold investment, inflation is your friend lol
