Thats like 2 years to late, a competitor to the Clubsport CSW 2.5, and now Fanatec has made a DD for half the price.

Thrustmaster CEO: And don't forget to add some technical abbreviations with a T in front of it. To make it sound like we added newer technology.
Marketing Manager: You got it Boss...

At that price?! Forget about it. If you aren't going to make this an entry level DD wheel to compete against Fanatec then at least price it properly or include an entry level load cell brake pedal. Otherwise what's the point of choosing this product. $699.99 for this? Good luck, Thrustmaster.

A bit late to the party but - I had a chance to test both MOZA R5 and T-GT II on F1 22 on PC at a shop in Singapore. What I experienced: Granularity in the FFB on the T-GT wheel even when the power is turned down to something you would actually set for daily use, direct reaction to your wheel inputs etc. After testing both wheels at lower power -50% and then 40% gain on the R5 and 50% gain on the T-GT II, bought the T-GT II despite it not being DD.

$349 CSL Direct Drive
$199 CSL Wheel
$79 CSL Pedals

$627 Total

If you want the 8nm just add $130 or clutch for $40

Fanatec really changed the game. I was hoping thrustmaster will bring the competition... Basically this product is marketed towards playstation users... TBH with you, just wait for CSL DD Playstation compatible

Thrustmaster: look guys we added stickers to our old TGT and we're going to sell it for $700 (and we're not even including the load cells) when you can buy a direct drive wheel from out competitor for $350 😂😂 thrustmaster you guys are a yoke! A yoke! (Fernando voice)

Direct drive wheels cost 349$ today. Thrustmaster must wake up.

Dead on arrival. Looks like Thrustmaster failed to predict the market development completely and now they are stuck with unsellable product.

Picked up one of these just a few days ago. No Fanatecs available. I’m very pleased with this thing. Awesome quality & feedback.

Looks like 4 years of doing absolutely nothing. No ambition at all.

Drop the price by 250, and I will think about it.

TM is a belt driven company we all need to except that ive won a lot of top races on my TS-XW Base, I don’t think TM has the Technology or Resources to develop a DD Wheel Base! So think you TM for being there when i didn’t have the $ for a DD wheel when I decided to start Sim Racing

Why not direct drive? If Fanatec, simucube and other could than why can’t You?

I started on a T1 bungy wheel and have had thrustmaster wheels since then, so yeah im a big tm fanboy, but i have to admit that this release is a big dissapointment for me . A honest question, is there a dd wheel in the works or is this the most ahum advanced wheel tm can make ? If so Hello fanatec .

I think allot of Thrustmaster users will be disappointed as we were hoping for a DD wheel from Thrustmaster. Will the T-GT II base be sold separately?
