Wouldn't have a shortage of anything if we didn't over fill our country with free loading immigrants.

After the last two years I don’t believe anything a National company says much less a government minister.🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Domestic customers being targeted once again - the restrictions don’t apply to Industrial customers.

Absolutely not. I now intend to use more than normal.

When a CEO receives £2 million a year plus 3/4 million £ bonus just to run a water company and our PM gets less than £250K then there has to be something seriously wrong.

Scaremongering. Soon as autumn/winter kicks in it'll rain every day and they'll be complaining about flooding. Same old thing every year.

It pissed down only yesterday in London. Britain can't cope with anything apparently. Useless

The basic premise of privatising the water supply was that the companies would be handed it lock, stock and barrel. Then they could set charges with OFWAT and make a profit on the basis that they would maintain and upgrade the system. The volume of leakage is phenomenal. It seems that dividends to shareholders are maintained but the system isn't.

Why not cloud seed in the UK like Dubai does?

This water shortage is the result of greed and blatant profiteering following privatisation of water supply. The directors of the various new water companies immediately awarded themselves huge salaries and, not content with massively increasing consumer water charges, sold off all the reservoirs which had been built by far-sighted victorian engineers to store water in case of periods of low rainfall and, or, drought. I lived in Bolton at the time that North West water sold off 3 huge reservoirs to housing developers!

Driest July since 2010 according to 'Not a lot of people know that' website. The end of the world as we know it.

It's just lucky that the thousand of people arriving at our shores each year will not require water!

Absolute BS. What about the 1976 drought which lasted from mid June to early September 🤡🌍

Just 4 days till the end of the month and Longhurst calls for lower water use. Would of been acknowledged on the 1'st Longhurst, but as it's currently the 27'th, well it's just a little too late I'm afraid.
