Section 3.1 - Linear Operators

Here we discuss linear operators, the most well-known being a matrix. However, for the context of this class, we will be using differentiation as a linear operator acting on function spaces. We will also discuss linear operator equations, such as Ax=b, and how boundary value problems can be written in a very similar way.
