The Pokemon Gyms are DANGEROUS

Yes, I know the Alola trials aren't gyms, but close enough. Either way, the gyms in the Pokemon world are extremely dangerous overall. Say what you will about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but at least their gyms are safe.

Shoutout to Drayden/Iris's gym that have you walking on stone dragons fighting each other, Flannary's gym that has you falling into and launching you up to different floors, Giovanni's gym which brings back the nausea inducing spin tiles, Candace's gym which has you sliding at speeds capable of plowing through multiple feet of boulder-sized snow piles, Morton's gym which has you walking on nothing

and finally: Olympia who sends you to F**KING SPACE. 😂

Gym puzzles are definitely death traps waiting to happen. Sabrina’s teleporters say “vomit bags required”, Skyla makes u a human cannonball, & I’m pretty Flannery’s running an illegal sauna that could cause geat strokes.

See, a couple of the gyms in Kalos thought about this. Grant just has a rock climbing wall. It could still be dangerous, but if a child is fit enough to go on a journey around the region, they can probably handle a physical activity that most people consider fun. That mostly extends to Korrina's gym, though the rail grinding looks pretty dangerous.
And Ramos' gym has you swinging from ropes, but there's a net underneath every rope so no child can fall and break a bone. The most dangerous thing in his gym is the slide at the end.
Clemont's gym is just elevators and Who's That Pokémon?
Valerie just ripped off Sabrina's gym, and so long as you don't consider what teleporter pads are doing to your molecules, it's probably safe.
Olympia's gym probably made a few kids hurl, but they just haven't opened their third eye, she's not liable for that.

The worst part of Byron's gym isn't even what's inside it, it's the location.

This gym is a giant, cavernous hole dug a half hearted stone's toss from the ocean. If that east wall breaks, that gym is going to be flooded in seconds.

Clairs gym does have barriers, just on the three sides that you arent walking towards as part of the puzzle.
