I like to start off with the slide, then combine everything, 3 chord changes, and a riff from the high e back home to the low (thick) e. When I strum the G chord, I fret 2 and 3 every other time on the low e.

Always start a video showing what you are about to teach- easier to follow that way. Give us the example first.
