I did this to my king v and I just drilled out the strap button to fit the neck screw. It worked like a charm.

Strap button position makes 90% of the balance of the guitar

Thank you sir. I drilled my strap button as well and it worked fine.

I love mine but just bought the Kelly style because it’s more comfortable to play in the sitting position. My hip was fractured in a car accident and it is hard to sit and play with that v shape. It’s too bad because it really rings out even unplugged!

I always do that too. To my v and Kelly. Idk why they don't have it there in the first place

On top of doing this, I also wear the back strap in front of the top horn / fin, it fixes the problem where this rhoads shape tends to fall forwards making the front side of the guitar facing to the floor. Have anyone also tried this?

I wonder why they put the strap button on different places depending on series. The pro RR has strap button exactly on place where you just changed it

If I move the strip button will affect the value of an older rhoads / and by how much if so ?

I just did this with this exact model. Worked perfect. Having you noticed the neck getting weak where you placed the button over time or is it completely fine?

I'm glad you made a video about this. I have the same question that Canuck asked, have you noticed any weird stuff happening to the neck after doing it?

Does it affect the guitar tilt? Maybe making the neck tilt forward a bit? Or maybe making the guitar facing downwards towards the floor a bit? Thanks!

I play guitar, not upright bass so i don't like my headstock pointing straight up at the sky. 🤷🏻‍♂️

How does the bridge hold up when you use the whammy bar?

Exactly what I did. Glad I’m not the only one. I thought it was due to my belly lol
