Technically speaking, geschlechtsverkehr is the German word for 'Sexual Intercourse', it can also be shortened to 'geschlechts' and just 'sex' is also used a lot.
Edit: Apparently 'Geschlechts' is the equivalent to gender, so for the action of sex, just 'sex' is used. I also learned that 'Verkehr' means traffic, so Geschlechtsverkehr directly translates to 'gender traffic'

For those who don't understand the russia joke, in soviet times there was saying, " in USSR we have no sex", talking about it was a pretty taboo subject, since it was considered inappropriate. After the fall of USSR, this phrase lasted for a decade after it, and then it became kind of a meme phrase, when describing strict rules of those times or when old people start to talk about how good it was to live in Soviet Union. BUT for those curious it sounds a lot like an England variant.
