Haven’t stayed in the Palazzo yet . My first trip to Vegas in 2007 I stayed at the Venetian. The rooms are very similar…I agree with you that the sunken living room feature of the Venetian is better . Great place …only thing it’s just so dang big by time you walked back to your room it seemed like you were almost in Los Angeles lol. Your view was killer . Thanks for posting. A Coolist video a day keeps the boredom away 😎😎😎

By the way, we just heard about the stricter security measures at Venetian and Palazzo Hotel guest room areas and it has changed the way we travel to Sin City, forever because of a major tragedy that happened back on October of 2017. There have been heightened security measures for guest elevator entrance halls at Venetian & Palazzo Las Vegas according to outside sources on the internet: there is a card reader with light indicator and guards outside the hotel elevator entrance hall; a suite keycard must be tapped and the light must be green to get past the gate; kind of like in an office building with turnstiles but there are actually no turnstiles at the elevator hall. A person denies entry when the card reader shows a red light. Old and/or expired hotel keys are not acceptable at all; even those purchased from eBay.

Always viewed Palazzo as The Venetian’s slightly richer sister. After watching this, I think I like the step-down living room Venetian layout more 🤔

Hahaha you ended up with the easter egg room, no sunken for you bro. Ours had the sunken living room at the palazzo! I did prefer the bed at the cosmo over the palazzo but the amount of pools is unbeatable.

Sounds silly, but first thing I look at in a room is the chairs at the table. I sit there. Hate chairs with arms. I'm big and like a open chair. Like a room that is fat friendly. Lol. Plus room has to have a removable shower head. I take a star just on that, my pet peave. It's nice, but venetian room looks better. Well done coolest. You covered it well. I will keep throwing your name out on the fb group. That group gets huge numbers of people.

Viva la difference! I found the steps in the Venetian to be annoying, so their absence here is ok. ...but then I also think the space functions are backward. Enter room in living area, not bedroom. The view is nice, however Bellagios 36 floor has fewer mechanical devices blocking the sightlines. Looking forward to seeing your wrap up vlog here.

I think the Palazzo rooms were designed this way after the many complaints from Venetian guests that tripped on the stairs going into the sunken living area. 😂
