I grew up in the LDS church. I was the only one out of 11kids who went to church. I left several times, then would go back. I finally said no more, when my 9year old daughter said she wasn't going to church anymore. When we asked why, she replied, "they don't ever teach about Jesus, only those men. (The priesthood, etc). We have not been back and never will.

If more people knew about the early Christian writings such as eusebius and others Mormonism would have never gotten off the ground.j Smith got all the doctrine wrong in the first place

You don't need any mediator to God whatsoever, not even Jesus who is no messiah. He was a nice enough guy, and seemed to have meant well, but he did not fulfill any of the prophecy -- no unshering in of peace on Earth, sorry -- that's why the "second coming" was invented.

No virgin birth, no perfection, no sacrifice, its all absurd. The Christians even met at the Council of Nicea in 325 to decide who Jesus was. That is when the invention began.
