In this video I set up my Christmas Village Set from Dollar Tree – the ceramic set was purchased I believe in 2015 or 2016 and is no longer available at Dollar Tree.

I think that the post office looks good in the back. You can still see it but it kinda gives it dimension like there more to the town. It's beautiful my .on has a huge village with over 30 buildings and every year I love watching her put her village up it really puts me in the Christmas spirit

@crafty girl... In my village, I've used upside down bowls or plastic containers that I tuck underneath the "faux material" batting. It's free, because it's using stuff I already have!!! The bridge connecting the 2 areas of your town is really cute.

You should add the fake snow inside the vases so everything flows so nicely....it looks very beautiful!❤️💚

Looks really cute. Wish Dollar Tree still had the same quality as before. I know it's too late, but next year you could add wrapping paper to the back ground. One year I used a black wrap with silver glitter snowflakes, which I save by rolling it up then sticking inside other wrapping rolls. Don't forget DT's puck lights to stick on the underside of the shelves to light up your town and some strands of lights under the snow. I've been a subscriber for quite a while now, so I wish you well and enjoy the holidays.

I love this...I did this back in the 80s I used a compact mirror for the pond for the skaters and cotton balls for snow along with spray can snow I loved it with the little houses and trees, little people but I glued it all to a board. Thank you for sharing you did an amazing job!

Hi Marie, I love this video, I used to look at my moms village and talk to myself saying what everything was and what the people were doing ...just like you did on here. It was so magical, I love where you set it up it makes it more magical in there. You could put some of those DT little lights in there ...that would be so pretty! When your little niece is a little older she will think Aunt Marie's Christmas village is magical too . Such a great idea using the vases and plates as well ! I haven't put mine up in years, but after seeing this ....Marie you have me convinced it's going up this year, ! Thank you for sharing this amazing video with us! 💞🎄

Wow, this is so lovely! I love what you've done to create different heights and I absolutely love the bridge, it's so perfect there! This setup makes me feel really nostalgic for the "Christmas village" I used to go to, probably because it was a hilly area and I've never seen one with this much vertical dimension before. Nostalgia aside, I think this just looks much cuter than the wide flat ones I usually see. Great idea, thanks for sharing!

I use books with white bunting over them to create height. But the use of glass is beautiful!!!! It gives it an ice look and the faux snow makes it so magical. You are so creative!!!!

Just adore your Christmas town, village!! 😊🎄☃️The trees and accessory pieces really make it all work too. For night maybe closet DT light or add string fairy lights or Led lights.
