Great series. This is the THIRD version of Wallander. First 2 were swedish, no surprise.
For me the second version was the best and the author agreed. Find those on BritBox.

The best thing about the series is that it introduced me to the author; the English adaptions were entertaining but the books are so much better that I would never want to see the TV versions again. There is also Swedish versions but I must admit that Branagh looks more like the "real" Wallender and they are no more faithful to the books than the English version.

Wallander is a terrible cop. When he shoots the indian kid for trying to kill the rapist/murderer/kidnapper, Wallander might as well have been buggerin' those teen girls himself.
