hi gerhard, i like ur innovative blockchain analytics approach to looking at crypto, but i find 2 problems with this video

1. i think its a bit late to be telling people to risk off from
solana and take profits when the price is basically back to where it was when the memecoin frenzy you attribute the price rally began.

2. further, i think you are not accounting for the fall in volume not merely because of people moving to base, but because of the network congestion the past week which undoubtedly turns people off from using solana for now, at least until it is remedied.

wrong! there are plenty of coins that went down a lot more than Solana...besides, SOL always restores faster than the rest!

Not really, Solana is only down 21.8% on the monthly - right behind BTC. It's position is 33rd of the top 100 MC. It's completely natural for Solana to take capital, developers, and projects from ETH. We would expect SOL dominance to rise as it is the premier L1 and ETH is ultimately a legacy technology.

Yes. meme coin trading is high, but several top projects, including RNDR, have migrated to SOL. Expect 5-10% SOL dominance at 40% BTC marketcap by the end of the bull run. At a MC of 10T, this translates to 500B to 1T Solana evaluation, or an 8-16X from here. There is still massive upside potential and then all the coins leveraged on SOL.

That's a bad read on the Ray/Sol chart. Nothing in that chart is bearish or would indicate a 40% drop to a new low for Ray vs Sol. Ray is the dominant DEX on Solana. It should continue to outperform Sol as long as we're in a bull market. The Ray chart is uber bullish, and so are the fundementals.

Sold all my sol just before this last dip. Made about 46%. Will sell the remainder of my alts also as they lose dominance, which should return later in the cycle.

Gerhard normally I agree with your analysis, but this one, not so much. The big thing you’re missing is the recent network slowdowns caused people to lose some confidence in the chain. I think people a couple weeks ago, and they probably invested elsewhere, saying all of this people have very short memories. it won’t be long before people come scrambling back to Salina, because it is the fastest chain, and the cheapest chain.

Like many others in this comment section i have a few problems with this video. I almost can't believe you said that the only activity on the chain is memecoins. There is so much developing on sol I feel like. Things like Jup are on of the best in their genre and they are all popping up on Sol. Sol is not just a casino lol
