Before that, the only thing you may learn is that if you have the dragon egg in your inventory you take damage.
After that, I advise you watch it in speed x2.
Also the explanations stop around 15:00 after you have 1 minute and a half of nothing again.

So you'll spend around 5 minutes actualy learning something instead of 16 very long minutes

No need of dragon egg to grow crops faster. Adjust tick speed (in pocket edition) or use cheats (**gamerule- _scroll down to see tick speed_- make it 1000**)

Just put a torch under the egg. Much less expensive.
Edit: Just punch the egg once, and it'll move. You can mine endstone, right?
