Special announcement! The Land To House Ram Pumps are now shipping with Stainless Steel Waste Valves. These valves are a lot heavier and are expected to last years longer than the Brass valves. The ram pump cycles approximately 31,000,000 times a year and this is a brass valve killer. After 5 months of use with the SS valve I am pleased that the valve is doing amazing!

Have you ever tried using an expansion tank instead of that pipe chamber? They have a rubber bladder and you can adjust the air pressure on the back side of the bladder.

I have a request for a test on the ram pumps. I have been watching your videos about your ram pumps. The different sizes and every other test you have done. What I am wondering is can you put a different size swing check valve on and how efficiently it works. Like if you have a 3/4" ram pump, having a 1" or 1/2" swing check valve. Would it provide better pressure and better water flow or not. Would love to be able to see a video like this

Did a quick search on ram pumps in series. None found. You did two into one delivery pipe.
How about in series as they go up hill? Or would the surge pressure it takes have to be in sink or just not work at all?
Love the land your on. Have friends and family in Tennessee and they live on the most beautiful land with creeks and streams.
Another thing. I use to be into fish tanks. For my flow I always used 45 degree angles or sweeps for my direction changes to minimize resistance adding to back pressure. Using 90 degree angles which you may already know, or not. Is like running into a wall before changing directions reducing flow rates. I always ported my plumbing as well so I could use smaller pumps achieving better flow.

I wonder if the improvement on the pump flow is caused by the stainless steel gate being heavier. In that case you could probably tune the performance of the brass valve by drilling a hole in the center and attaching weights. Maybe a washer or penny at a time. Can you perform this test?

Why not us a PVC valve since you showed a video of its durability?

So I was thinking I could use one ram pump from my water source to pump water into a tank lets say 15 feet above ground have a line running back down from that tank to a second ram pump which would give me even more water pressure pressure in my line. Do you think that would work?

I have a quick question. I’ve been watching your testing videos and I wanted to comment on your latest video to make sure you saw it. could you have two ram pumps with two separate supply tubes feeding one drive pipe at the same time. would that increase flow rate and output or would the pumps fight each other.
