Its really comforting the way Mara keeps expressing his acknowledgment of his shortcomings and mistakes and to have a new face in here that sees those mistakes and is making it a priority to prevent them from continuing is super exciting.

I was surprised to hear such a ringing endorsement for Daniel. It makes sense though he is the best option for next year, money wise if nothing else.

What a breath of fresh air. And hats off to Mara for his wise introspection and candor.

That's gonna be an awesome live stream! Looking forward to it. As for the O-line, as long as we come away from the draft with 2-3 starters I don't care where we pick them. It's up to Schoen and the staff to get those picks right.

“Some of the issues around here in the past have been injuries. We need to do a deep dive into that and make sure we’re doing everything we can so these players can put their best foot forward on Sundays, ” - Schoen 2022 🤝

I really like the fact that he seemed kinda nervous, its a good sign that he feel the pressure and isn't a i-know-everything guy like gettleman

I loved the way he talked about analytics! something else that i liked was the way he talked about the cap and how it’s a real issue. I creamed when he said the oline was a top priority! Lastly how he said that he scouted 1-4 rounds of the draft. Even though he doesn’t have the charisma of Gettleman or judge he sounds like he knows what he is talking about.

I don't care if the guy was a little nervous I would be crapping my paints if I was up there

I felt that Joe Judge did have a great opening press conference also. As far as Joe Schoen; I think that he has a lot of experience although he, Joe, is young. Some of last years problems were like chasing between apples and oranges in my mind. Mr. Mara surely doesn't seem too interested in Watson right now which is understandable cap hit or not. There are several other franchises which need Joe Schoen's logic. Go Knicks, Go Blue. Thanks Chris!!

Great video and content as always Tainah I totally agree with everything I heard Shoen say especially that there are good people here and we will be evaluating everyone that’s what a good and fair leader does. I was also pleased that John Mara showed the class he is again by admitting how this team has screwed up Daniel Jones career, I would add Barkley to that, Shoen mentioned tough decisions will be coming so cuts and signings will affect the draft which you know I’m on board with you on MUST HAVE TWO OR THREE OLINEMAN

As one of the biggest critics of DJ, I am glad Schoen is taking the approach that they want to accentuate what DJ does best. If they can field a decent oline, DJ could be much better. Still don't think he is a long-term solution. But he can be better than he was this past year.

For me personally, his nervousness is not a negative. It makes him more relatable and shows that he is real in that moment. I mean the guy had never been in the spotlight before. Being a great speaker, as seen with Judge, sometimes comes with the compromise of not being able to walk the walk. The answers seemed honest, intelligent and forward-thinking. I’m not falling into the same trap as the last few years and getting hyped for nothing. I have a lot of respect for Schoen and will give him a chance to prove himself. If he delivers in the Draft, Free Agency and the Team shows me they are improving then I am officially on the Schoen-Train.

Gotta understand that someone who just got hired by an organization that truely wanted to be here isn't gonna throw current employees and players under the bus in his first press conference. So I honestly wouldn't assume too much outta this personal and staff wise as he'll want to deal with it behind closed doors. But all in all we want him to succeed regardless of what moves he makes.

When I heard him say “we can be competitive now but also build for the future” gave me creepy Dave gettleman flashbacks….

You summed it up early for me, I could care less about him being nervous and not being a damn salesman and public speaker! DO YOU KNOW FOOTBALL AND WHAT IS YOUR RESUME LIKE! And is yea and pretty damn good! Let’s get this head coach right and keep real football people in this organization. Great post as usual my man.
