I SUFFERED hard in EXTREME HEAT! - (and the secret Bonus climb of Geneva)

With a temperature of over 30 degrees C, and a massive ride with A LOT of climbing, this was going to be a HARD DAY!! I'm riding in the Jura Mountains, starting in Geneva. With some local knowledge and route building I had a very interesting ride with a ''secret'' climb to the most amazing viewpoint on top of the ski lifts!!

Got my SRX Pro Elite bibs. Super different from what I am used in the past (Louis Garneaux MTB Bibs) but I have to say, that once the ride starts, I am not thinking or feeling the bibs, which is how I want my kit to be! Thanks for the discount!

Geneve is cycling heaven. You missed the best climb in the Jura, Combe Blanche. Another nice route is around the lake 180km with 1, 000m climbing.

Great video mate!, ....sorry I've been "missing in action" in the comments section, ..The new job at Lowe's, has really been taking up my time, ..working on getting a new Cevelo S5 on "layaway", ...all the 56cm's bikes are sold out, ...the only one they got is a 51cm BMC, ..that would be "feasible" for me, ...(my FELT DA3 was a 51cm), ..and that's gonna be replaced too, ...(we'll keep ya "posted"!🤙🤙🤙)

One thing I would really like too see is when you're done with say a climb, you should put the stats in for that climb so we can see. Average power, speed, % etc 😊

Hi Jasper, first things first, nice vid (as always!), also thanks for the 10% discount, I've ordered an almost full kit, and everything seems to fit, only the bibs seems a lot less tight than the castelli one I currently have. Can you in a future vid maybe elaborate more on how to get enough liquids on a multiple hour bike ride. I'm started as a cyclist last year, now I can ride up to 3 hours with enough liquids but I struggle to have a solution for the next hours, I'm not the person who want to easily walk into a shop to buy water. LIke in this vid, do you always go to some restaurant to buy water? Can you give some ideas how how to tackle this? Big thanks! Btw, I'm from Holland also.

The Jura mountains have so much to offer, one of my fav places around Geneva for a bike ride in the summer. What camera setup/equipment do you bring on these rides? Do you have a link to this ride on Strava? I need to try that bonus climb ;)
