TORTILLA SOUP (BONUS LARGE FAMILY DINNER // BURGERS FOR KIDS)

This tortilla soup recipe is so delicious and can be kicked up with a little cayenne pepper! I love adding kale to bring in some extra greens.
🧑🍳 Grinder (for dehydrated spices)
Ingredients:
1 Cup Shredded Chicken
1 Cup of Kale, chopped
1 Large Yellow Onion, Diced
1 can of Black Beans
1 can of Corn
1 can of Diced Tomatoes,, 28 oz
1 8oz can of Green Chilies
1 Lime
1 Avocado
Corn Tortillas
3 cups Canola Oil
Cumin. chili powder, garlic salt and Cayanne Pepper

Sour Cream
Directions:
In a large pot add a little olive oil and onions, cook them down until translucent.
Add chicken, crushed tomatoes, beans, corn and chilies to the pot and stir. Add 1 tablespoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, salt and pepper. Let it simmer on low heat.
While the soup is cooking add 2 cups of canola oil to a pan and bring to a medium heat. Chop 10 of the corn tortillas into strips and fry in the pan. Remove and lets drain on a towel.
After the soup has cooked, add 2 cups of kale to the top and turn the heat off. Mix well.
Fill a bowl to the top with your soup, garnish with avocado, fried corn tortillas, zest of lime and a little sour cream and hot sauce! Enjoy!
