That looks a lot like proper old school Test match rugby… a slug feat in the mud.
I doubt the All blacks v Springboks match would’ve been of a much higher quality, considering the weather and the conditions.
The Chileans looks like they have a gun team building. The Yanks made too many missed tackles, and I guess there was plenty of ball handling errors in the match too.
I’m South African, and I’m loving watching these smaller rugby nations, really put in some good shifts, and the crowds is what amazes me too.
Especially in this game, as I could imagine most didn’t turn up because of the weather, but kudo’s to that mode who went! Well done, you made that a great game, and your persistence was like a 16 th player for you.

I’m glad to see America also stepping up and I believe, by the time the World Cup comes along to America in 2032, both these two teams won’t just be there to ‘fill the spots’

They’ll be there to compete and I’m keeping a keen eye on the smaller nations over the next 10 years! This is great stuff and awesome for the growth of Rugby around the world. Love it and we’ll done to both teams for playing trough that and making it a great game.

PS- I don’t know his name, but that bloke for Chile who scored that try, That should be the Try of the year! I was like.. goooo boy! Hahaha

I’m so damn proud of the boys going there and putting on a proper showing. They kept their heads down and went about things to win. All of the Eagles should know how happy and excited for them we are as Americans. They’re helping turn the tide of how this country views the game and this is a fantastic measure of doing exactly that. Great individual try and team effort by Chile too. They’re a quality opponent and what they’ve done with their rugby program is nothing short of incredible. Cheers everyone!!

Christ the conditions look appalling. 😆 These emerging rugby nations in the Americas, like the Georgians and Spanish in Europe, deserve as much support and assistance with their development as World Rugby (along with the major rugby playing countries) can give them.

Wow. I would have loved to watch the whole game. That try from Chilean no 10 was fantastic. Whole matched managed to blend rugby union ...and mud wrestling! and a blackout as well.
