I’ve only accepted Jesus as my Lord just February ‘21. Even after my “yes” I still tried to understand 1) his love for me; 2) the trinity 3) why Jesus had to die and lots of things that I’ve found hard to grasp…..however I’m beginning to understand the “why” and only recently accepted that there are things I will never understand and that this is okay now. It’s why I follow you and some others to learn to accept. His will, not mine. So far I’ve found him gentle and loving with me, even when I’m being stupid

it might seem right to lean on our own understanding to help us cope with the stresses of a trial, but as Eric said, God would have us give ourselves with abandon. we do not need to understand everything, but we do need Him in everything. he will NEVER lead us wrongly or into deception - but our own hearts will. Tears may be for a time - but with keeping our minds upon Jesus - joy comes in the morning!!!! Thank you Eric! ❤☺
