As a whole, if you're an ABAPer and don't want to move from ABAP, go with RAP. But if you want to learn and switch to a complex and better skillset go learn CAP.

I am primarily a full stack developer, but stuck with ABAP & RAP, since company is using On Premise. I found CAP to be way ahead of ABAP/RAP and very easy to use, manage, modify and implement.
