I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Spuddy is one in a million. A true heart of gold. He went to see his Dad who had alzheimers everyday with plates of delicious food. He fed his Dad every bite. He was an amazing son. He has a true heart of an angel on earth.

I saw this video years ago and seeing the mouthwatering food, and amazing culture inspired me to go to Louisiana. Recently I was able to go and experience the culture. I was primarily excited to go to Spuddys, the restaurant that inspired me to come and finally stood 10 feet away from spuddys door. In the video it mentioned how Spuddys business was declining due to less traffic in the area but once I arrived I thought it would be doing better due to the popularity of the episode. Once I entered I was met with an empty restaurant and a busy spuddy that greeted me. He was on the phone so I couldn’t talk to him about the show and what not but he explained that his restaurant wasn’t a restaurant anymore but a cooking class. I left the restaurant and went to another close by where a French local explained that ever since a bad storm Spuddys is only opened for a total of 12 hours out of the whole week and he made it into a cooking class. It was very saddening to see my inspirations restaurant to be doing so poorly so I wish that you guys can support Spuddys and that food review show can visit him once again.

Spuddy is such a character - while he seems like such a gentle soul, when he said "If I find you pressure washing the smoker, I would hurt you bad", I absolutely believe him.

"you want them to have somethin, and not be left out" southern hospitality at its finest. As someone who has a shellfish allergy (that I hate, i miss crab legs) that warms my heart

Can we talk about the editing? For a second I thought I was watching the Discovery channel. This was very professional. Great work!

Spuddy seems like that uncle who teaches you the secrets of life while he teaches you how cook.

The south and it's culture changed me now that I've been welcomed into a family there. Its Alabama but it's still southern culture and it is so different. Soon I'll get to Louisiana

7:54 the fact that he can so casually drop a life threat without skipping a friendly beat has to be the most Louisiana thing I’ve ever hear🤣
