How to Crop or Stretch an already uploaded Youtube video

!!! This feature is not available for videos uploaded after June 2016 !!!

Copy and paste one of the following commands to the tags/keywords section of your already uploaded Youtube video.

Examples of formatting tags:

yt:quality=high
Defaults to a high quality stream (available based on the size of the viewer’s player and the size of the browser window)

yt:crop=16:9
Zooms in on the 16:9 area, removes windowboxing

yt:stretch=16:9
Fixes anamorphic content by scaling to 16:9

yt:stretch=4:3
Fixes 720x480 content that is the wrong aspect ratio by scaling to 4:3

yt:crop=off
Deactivates cropping effects on the video and re-establishes cropped areas

It's not working for videos uploaded after June 2016. It's even written in your link you left in the description. Now how do I stretch a video now? This is the important question you should answer when you upload a video about stretching after June 2016

Just a heads up. If your videos have side blocks and not full size. Try turning your phone sideways to record and then uploading it.

this is really fustrating. All of my videos have this ridiculous black bars at the end making my video narrow. Why is youtube doing this . Uploading a content is another headache
