SGU CAMPUS TOUR | St. George's University | Vet & Med School

Many people tell me that my videos help put them at ease about coming to SGU because they never get to come visit Grenada or campus, so I decided to make a campus tour video! St. George's University is located in Grenada, a small Caribbean island in the lower Caribbean. Since I'm in the vet school, many of my videos have vet emphasis, but this campus tour is inclusive to all.

SGU has a veterinary and medical school that is US based and AVMA / AMA accredited. They also have a School of Arts and Sciences that has traditional "undergrad, graduate, and doctoral" degrees. There is an option to do pre-vet and pre-med here as an American student, but the SAS cohort is largely diverse from students from all over!

Hey, im a senior in undergrad that is about to start applying and just had a few questions. Would you say that it is harder for caribbean students to get accepted into specialties after graduation, or would you say that it is still on par with state schools? I am looking at going into a mixed practice with a focus on cattle in the future and didn't know if the caribbean schools were good for that specific part of the field, as I have heard the caribbean schools mainly focus on small animals. Also, is the burnout as tough as everyone says with the accelerated schedule? There is a lot of conflicting info on the internet and just wanted some advice from someone who has actually been through the program. Great tour and appreciate your content

Hi, as a LGBTQ human, what is it like being a veterinary student there? I wondered if it is supported or anything? I assume on a college campus it is more normalised but i looked on their website and there is no lgbt organization or anything?
