Seems to me like David Coverdale sounded better in Purple than he ever did in Whitesnake. He just has this massive powerful voice that totally knocks your socks off.

I don't know of a better drummer in this song. I'm 55 year young and just started listening to Deep Purple ( outside of "Smoke on the water ") .Talented group they are!

I remember when I listened to this I was only 16, the good old days, there was no hate in between. God help me live trough these new generations... 76 good year. I remember exactly i was on the Bicentennial culminated on Sunday, July 4, 1976, with the 200th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence when it came out, my dad (now dead), called me on my telephone that he bought me the album record. God save us all. I listened to this also when my 2dn wife died and i clearly remember the days... Thank u deep purple for everything your George <3
