My grandfather served under Patton at the Battle of the Bulge. He was in artillery. We have his medals framed. 🏅

Grandpa fought for Patton's U.S. Third Army 94th Infantry Division 302nd Regiment Company C. Awarded a Silver Star and Purple Heart. Grandpa had nothing but respect for Patton. I asked Grampa about Patton pissing in the Rhine River. Grandpa asked how i knew about that. I read it in a book I replied. Grandpa smiled and said I was there.

My grandmother had four sons. Three were drafted into the Army during WWII. My father was drafted into the Navy during WWII. All were in the invasion of Normandy. All four survived and came home. ❤️🫡👍🇺🇲

Patton was a man of honor for sure. A little brutal but he saw many things that made him very insensitive. The fact he protected the soldiers responsible for his death says everything about the type of man he really was. Doesn't get anymore honorable than that. A man who loved his country dedicated his life to it and led by example. True greatness ehat it is to really be an American. Somewhere along the way many of us lost ourselves and forgot what makes us so great. It was always our heart thats where our strength came from its when it didn't problems occurred
