She maybe was tan or fake tan, that's why it might seen like it made her face paler

I literally have been using this for over a year. I’ve had zero issues. People literally make up the dumbest stuff for videos. Thanks doc for telling the truths. 😊

I actually like that it can lighten hair, since I noticed it lightens my facial hair over time.

Learned the hard way. The splashing of water when washing/rinsing would bleach the rug in front of my sink. Took me a while to figure it out 😂. Solution: white rug 😊

Life changing product. Thank you for talking about this product and its benefits besides acne. One that isn't talked about is that it eliminates razor burn along the bikini line...I'm 41 and finally have no razor burn not even a little bump ever bc of this product.

It does not bleach my hair but it does bleach my fabrics

If that made you pale, it would be the hottest produce in asia, like treat acne and tone up? That a win win lol

As someone with freckles and bad acne prescription benzoyl peroxide absolutely bleached my freckles. Later in life I switched to otc benzoyl peroxide lower in concentration with the same sun screen daily usage and my freckles came back. Either way sunscreen and healthy skin is much more important than freckles or tanning. Those can be replaced with make up skin health can not.

It reacts differently on different skins. How can a dermatologist not know that?
Yes, this specific product can make people pale, its just a very minor subset of people who react that way.
Just because something is not very common, does not mean, it does not exist.

Her skin looks kind of red, but I don't know if that's from the product mentioned.

I feel exfoliation of any kind or even acne products does brighten the face to where light to medium light ranges can definitely see more of their lighter complexions… In turn, look more pale! I feel that’s the negative downside to treating the skin but it’s worth doing. And if anything, it’ll naturally balance itself out; try getting rest & nourishing your body nutritionally. And/or sometimes even IV nutrients help (which is only really from ER cases 😂 but it’s noted).

Wouldn't it is she's experiencing exfoliation from it? Bpo is a mild exfoliant fight?

I can confirm, I use epiduo (wich contains benzoyl peroxide) on my acne including my moustache (Im a man) and it turns my moustache blonde. Im glad I dont have acne on my eyebrows...

I cant wait to try it under my arms instead of deodorant like you taught me
Its totally safe to use right?
You surely are aware that what we put on our skin can or does end up in our bodies through the pores

It was probably washing her fake tan off 😂

I feel my face whitened my face from years of using acne treatments. I have pictures of childhood and infancy where my skin tone was more a medium olive skin tone. 20 years later.. my face is more of a light tan. Different than my neck. I dont wear makeup either. Its notable

I don’t know what you’re talking about, because I used to shave and then put peroxide on my skin to avoid razor bumps, and I stopped doing that because I also noticed as a tan native American that it was lightening my skin. Also, a quick google search says you’re wrong, on top of personal experience.

Also it seems like the product was drying on her face. It has on the bottle to leave on for 1-2 mins then rinse....
No reason why it should be drying.

I started using benzol peroxide and I dont care if it bleach hair or clothes- because i can see how it works on skin 🥹. I used a lot of products before (like acids), but they didn't treat acne/spots/pimples like this ingredient.
But ofc if you have aggressive form of acne go to doctor before using product - because it can irritate skin.
