From the initial sparks of inspiration to the meticulous development of each scene, Oscar© based off Oscar Wilde's writings of The Nightingale and the Rose and The Picture of Dorian Gray in combination with his biography, provides an overall essence of Oscar's character including his wit, brilliance and intimate sides, to create the central themes and dramatic twists that come to life in the ballet.
