For anyone having issues with this board. I would recommend trying each bios version till your system is running stable. Also, try enabling xmp to your ram speed after the bios is updated and hopefully this resolves your issue.. Let me know what issues you are having. This customer was having black screening issues too so i did a rollback to a differnet version and that has fixed it for the last 3 months.

Just built a system with this mobo a 7800x3d and 32gb 5600mhz ram. Absolutely 0 issues. All I changed in the bios was activate the expo profile. =For anyone encountering issues with low gpu usage/low fps consider reverting to an older bios from the latest one which at this moment is 7E26v1D. I personally went back to 7E26v19 which I've found to be the most stable bios so far. 7E26v1D broke something regarding the cpu atleast in my case I was getting 30-40 fps in most games with very low gpu usage tried everything before reverting and nothing worked.

I rock this board with a 7800X3D, RX 6750XT & 32GB of Teamgroup T-Crate Classic 5600 RAM with the latest drivers and BIOS updates. My only issue was that I had to manually overclock my RAM since it didn't detect an EXPO or XMP profile.

I'm absolutely satisfied. MSI B650 Gaming plus WIFi, AMD Ryzen 5 7600x, Kingston FURY Beast 32GB(KF560C36BWEAK2-32), MSI GeForce RTX 4060 TI GAMING X SLIM 16G, Seasonic Core GM 650w. No problem. :)

I think that most of issues may come from incompatibility between the RAM and the motherboard. I bought the CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16Go) 6000MHz CL36 AMD EXPO model CMK32GX5M2D6000Z36 alongside with the MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi. I have checked on the official MSI site that this reference is not included on the official compatible memory list. Hopefully I have not started to build the PC yet so I'm going to return the Corsair memory and buy the Kingston FURY Beast EXPO 32GB 6000MT/s DDR5 CL36 model KF560C36BWEK2-32 instead, which is in the official compatibility list.

I had major issues when I got mine, ended up sending it back in and they sent me a new one.

Most of the problems after reading comments seems to be incompatible RAM, always check vendor site with RAM part number and many of the so called problems will go away.

PS: yes i also have this board with 7800x3D cpu and specifically i bought ram which was in msi compatibility list (6000mz). Have zero problem since 2 years.

Mine has terrible boot problems, better than they used to be but still terrible. Never seen anyone else with the problem but sometimes when it boots the entire OS runs at like 1 frame per second and the audio has that robot latency, totally unusable when it does that, updating bios has never affected this, its random except for when its cold. Mine WILL NOT boot right when it is cold in the room, isn't that odd? Had this machine for a year, Xidax doesn't know whats wrong with it even though I've told them whats wrong with it. Terrible company

Finally someone has the same issues as the setup i got as a mc bundle. Gkill flare x5 mem and 7700x . Exhanged ram as well 1 hour drive to get to micro center.. the other bundle is only 12900k at the 399 pricepoint. So pissed only msi i have issues with had b550 gaming issues to.. 6 gigabyte and 3 asus no issues at all first ddr5 system though .. previous bios works but no bootable into bios Expo in windows with restart only..

I bought this motherboard and built my new PC with it and I was facing the exact same issue with it not POSTing, and I couldn't get into BIOS, let alone Windows. I guess it's time to get a new motherboard

just returned a Ryzen 7 9700x build based around that manure.

No power settings in bios. Zilch.
GPU sometimes booted to black screen. BIOS version doesn't even matter. No possibility to sleep the computer. Limited driver communication with every display related device.

I didn't even try any OC or custom software/firmware.

Junk straight out of the box.

Replaced with a used Prime H410M-R and Intel Pentium G4605 also used.... gained 50 FPS...

i'm late to this game, but now we have 24.09.2024 / my gigabyte Aourus x670e pro x has the same problem Especially when i do a reboot from windows. Its not an MSI problem its an AMD/AM5 problem

My only issue is the wifi not working, but my ram is currently running at 6000mhz thankfully. This is crazy

Recently built my pc with this mobo and ryzen 7 5700G ADATA 16x2 32gb xpg lancer blade 5600MHZ ram. Initial system boot takes more time and ram runs with 5200MHZ stable. If EXPO on, system wont post with orange led lit. Tried many things including switching old psu with new 850 watts msi mag. Still problem persists. Finally got a solution from msi forum to try switching on expo profile in amd overclocking section in bios and vola system boots with 5600MHZ and everything runs stable now. Issue is with msi side settings in bios. Try with AMD overclocking settings. Expo is shown disabled still in graphics section but still expo settings applied. Checked with cpuID and HW monitor.

I'm currently using a MSI B550 Tomahawk mb. I have bluescreens for like 6 months after I complete the build, just kept entering the bios and exit to start the computer until I finally update the bios one day and it had no problem afterwards. I want to upgrade to this motherboard but kinda have doubts after watching this video cause I have the same problem before.

Are u sure its the mainboard? Other people recommend it for gaming PCs and using 6000 RAM without problems.
