Yoshukai Karate International 2017 Summer Camp

I studied under sensei Crowley. He was an amazing teacher and one of my pastors sons now studies under him! I miss Crowley and his wife they were both amazing. Hope they're well

I love Yoshukai Karate. I studied under Sensei Hiroyuki Koda and Ray Nichols in Birmingham until they split and the dojo closed. I had to move to Kyokushin Karate because it was the only other truly great Japanese karate dojo in the area at that time. This is a great video of some great yudansha. My only concern is how poorly I see some of the blackbelts handling the Sai. The yudansha twirling the Sai at 0:59 is handling it very badly. Just look at how he's grasping it and how he's twirling it. It's just not good technique at all.
