I understand the idea of this video, believe me, I do, the thing is, drinking coffee is not a personality trait? “incorporating dark academia by drinking coffee in vintage mugs”? Reality is, you shouldn’t be trying to make this your personality, this should just align with your taste. I believe this aesthetic is about educating yourself and having a nice sense of style from other ages, but, again, you shouldn’t, for example, force yourself to like coffee because it goes with the vibe of an aesthetically appealing sense of style. Just my opinion, nice video anyways, I really enjoyed the book recommendations!

I actually don't know what the heck this is but a friend kept pointing out dark academia, we're in like a writing group, and then everytime i look up cottage core I just end up here. Personally, I would love a mix of romantic and dark academia. A black sweater with a pink collar peaking out. I want to get a little more into this since I'm trying to transition from a lifestyle of gaming and laziness to hopefully more productivity and reading.
