Biden accuses Russia of 'overt nuclear threats,' violating U.N. charter

Biden slammed Russian President Vladimir Putin for starting an unprovoked war that some 40 U.N. members are helping Ukraine fight with funding and weapons.

“A permanent member of the United Nations Security Council invaded its neighbor, attempted to erase a sovereign state from the map. Russia has shamelessly violated the core tenets of the United Nations Charter,” Biden said.

Earlier on Wednesday, Putin ordered a Russian mobilization to fight in Ukraine and made a thinly veiled threat to use nuclear weapons, in what NATO called a "reckless" act of desperation in the face of a looming Russian defeat.

"A nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought," Biden said.

To be honest. I support Ukraine. But, didn’t America suppprt imperial ambitions in the Middle East. Spend trillions of dollars for “democracy and yet still the teleban is still in control. Billions of more dollars to Ukraine awesome! What about billions to make it so areas in America don’t have lead in their water pipes???? Putin said that if the West continues to threaten Russia's borders he will use all weapons to defend them. So he's not threatening to use nuclear weapons, simply warning that if needed he will, like Truss saying she is prepared to press the button if our Country is threatened. But be aware that he made a point of saying that he wasn't bluffing, and Putin doesn't bluff
