God Knows All about Me

The first six verses of Psalm 139 convey the staggering truth that the Lord knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows what we do, where we go, what we think, what we say, all that we long for, and all that we need. Alistair Begg reminds us that there’s no safer place to put our trust than in Almighty God, who doesn’t love from a distance but searches us and knows us, sending His Son to lay down His life for us in order that we may also know Him.

I’m desperately trying to walk according to His Spirit and be fulfilled by being obedient to His word, thus letting mercy live on. Faith, hope and love are all great, however half brother James has stated “mercy triumphs over judgment!” I’m terrified of judging others; for in the way you judge, so shall I judge you (?) I mean I have humbling back (ankylosing spondylitis) pain and tingling peripheral neuropathy and on and on! It’s very difficult living, by abiding in Me and I in you for apart from me you can do nothing. Help me dear Lord Jesus Christ and help us all to not trip over what you’ve established for us to do, say and then live out these days with victory because of your work on the cross. My lovely wife and best friend believes that this kind of thinking is foolishness. One night several months ago I knelt down before her and told her the story of Ruth and husband Boaz. I exclaimed you’re like Ruth, and at the end of our little chat . . . Pattie expressed concern and said that the person you’re looking for doesn’t exist. What a perplexing situation to be in. I’m not sure how to handle this but I am not going to give up.

I’m in awe of God all the time. I love God and I love this so much and I believe it 💯% with everything in my entire being and God knows this toooo 🥰
I’m experiencing this currently now more than ever before in my life. I feel his love and care upon my life, I also feel his correction upon my heart, correcting me when I have thoughts or feelings that do not line up with God.
