A lot of you enjoy my videos from the Stoneleigh Kit Car Show each year, so in 2022 I decided to visit the Newark Kit Car Show. Based slightly further North, it wasn't quite as large but still showcased some of the country's most interesting fake supercars, other replicas and kit car builds. However I saw an unusual amount of genuine supercars at the show this year.

I love that Boxter -> 991 GT3RS conversion. Sure, I bet it took a monumental amount of effort and time. But it's totally unique at the end. Even if you went all out on a custom twin turbo 911 engine to squeeze into it, I'm sure it would cost less than a 991 GT3RS.

Nice to see these Replica show/meets.
No matter what you say, you can spot the real ones a mile away. Even the best fakes have something wrong, usually proportions, ride height, roof height, etc.

I remember standing next to Tim? Dutton of Dutton kit car fame, around 88 or 89 ish at Sandown racecourse kit car show, the announcer ask the person with the white Countach replica to please move it as it was badly parked, he was quite annoyed as it was a brand new 25th anniversary one.

Great post. You can or could do videos on each replica and give some details on the build process, performance and how close the dimensions are to the real machines. Kits and replicas have really improved over the years. Good work!

What is that car with the Martini stripes? I know the Nova Sterling from earlier (the full canopy door one) as it was Condorman's car, but i haven't a clue what the white one is. Anyone?
